Let Her Be

 She rose only to fall

A bright luminescent star stood in the galaxy

He searched longing for the brightest one

A day had not gone by in which he did not search

Months and years passed

Finally he lay to bed exhausted

Behold! The beauty lay before him!

She lay pale, frail

Dull as a stormy night

Desperately did he try to revive and restore

His life’s dream

Surely this was no dream!

She lay still and breathless

Longing for a  return

Back to the galaxies.
